What is Poko?

We are a natural skin care brand harnessing the power of CBD to revolutionise your skin care routine. At Poko, we strive to deliver the best in holistic skin care by combining the innovation of hemp-derived cannabidiol with tried-and-tested, skin-loving natural ingredients.

What is CBD?

CBD (aka cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring, non-intoxicating botanical compound found in hemp and cannabis. It is one of approximately 120 known ‘cannabinoids’ found in hemp.

Are the products cruelty-free?

At Poko, we are proud to say that all our products are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, the only internationally recognized certification organization for cruelty-free companies. We aim to uphold the highest standards of cruelty-free cosmetics, and Poko does not test on animals at any stage of product development.

Are the products vegan-friendly?

Yes! All Poko products are vegan-friendly and free from animal by-products.

Are the products free from parabens and other harmful ingredients?

All Poko products are free from silicones, phthalate, gluten, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, mineral oil, and palm oil.

How much are the products?

What age are they for?

Poko products are safe for all ages, however, our Rejuvenate range is specially formulated for mature skin.

What skin type are the products for?

We produce high-quality natural skincare products for all skin types. Poko facial skincare products fall into three ranges -
Radiance (dry and dehydrated skin) Rejuvenate (mature skin) and Revive (oily and combination skin). If you need a hand figuring out your skin type, let us help you out.

Can men use Poko?

Absolutely - Poko products are suitable for all genders.

Are the products travel-friendly?

All Poko products are under 100ml and are easily transportable in carry-on hand luggage. While we recommend using care when travelling with any cosmetic products, Poko products are packaged in sturdy containers to prevent spills.

How long does it take to see a difference?

This depends on what product you’re using. If you’re using products from the Radiance line, you should notice a boost in hydration straight away.

Results from the Rejuvenate and Revive line may take several weeks.

Can I use Poko with other products and brands?

Poko products are specially formulated to complement each other, so we recommend that you use them together in your skincare routine. However, Poko products are perfectly suitable to be used along with your favourite products from other brands.

Can I use the products if I’m pregnant?

Many common skin care products are not safe to use during pregnancy (such as retinoids and salicylic acid). However, since research around CBD is limited, there is currently no conclusive evidence to support whether topical CBD use during pregnancy is safe or harmful.

Our CBD extract contains absolutely no THC, the intoxicating cannabinoid found in hemp and cannabis. As well as that, topical CBD cannot penetrate deeply enough through the skin to enter into the bloodstream. If you are concerned about using topical CBD during your pregnancy, consult with your doctor.

Where is Poko made?

Poko products are made in the UK in a GMP certified, ISO-9001 and MHRA audited manufacturing facility.

How is your CBD sourced?

We use pure, THC-free CBD extracts sourced from Colorado, which is at the epicentre of hemp, CBD and cannabis research in the United States. Before it makes it on to your bathroom shelf, the CBD in our products have been rigorously tested for quality, safety and purity.

We take every step to ensure that the CBD in our products is of the highest possible standard and 100% vegan, organic, cruelty-free, gluten-free, GMO-free, and THC-free. Our products are rigorously tested for quality by an accredited third-party testing facility.
